We're Back.

The Week of Truth in 2019 was so successful, we are bringing the TRUTH back to the streets of New York City. Join us for 10 consecutive days of professionally orchestrated Cube of Truth outreach at one of the most iconic locations in the world.

In addition to the week-long Cube of Truth campaign, AV co-founders and co-directors Paul Bashir and Asal Alamdari will be facilitating an outreach Masterclass with the latest training and education on our outreach approach.

What to Expect

  • World-class vegan outreach training, empowering non-vegans to take veganism seriously, while offering them a proven platform to get active.
  • Screens, masks, signs, and outreach literature will be provided. Please do not bring your own.
  • Wear plain black or AV-branded clothing, appropriate for the weather. Shoes can be non-black, but must be closed-toe. This is essential to maintain the event aesthetic.
  • Pack light – we do not have space to store your personal belongings.
  • Get familiar with all of the most current AV activism resources to prepare you for the action.
  • If you arrive late, watch the short briefing video before or upon arrival.

Frequently Asked

The Cube takes place each day at Union Square Park South, New York City. Any updates are announced on our Facebook events page and in our WhatsApp group, so be sure to join them and check before you head out.

Yes, there will be public restrooms and restaurants which you can use. You can see them on this map.

Food and beverages will not be provided. Please bring your own snacks for when you take a break away from the Cube, or you can visit one of the nearby vegan restaurants.

This event is rain or shine. We want to show how serious we are about our intentions. In case of rain, screens will either be protected by umbrellas or gazebos, or we will move to a roofed area near the Cube location.

Of course, we welcome every vegan! There will be a briefing at the beginning of each Cube to ensure everyone is on the same page and knows what to do. We have experienced organizers who are trained to help new activists with everything they need.
